Start with one real detail
Instead of “I love food and travel,” try “I am learning to make dumplings, and my next weekend trip needs a good bookstore.” This is a fictional writing example: replace it with something true about you.
Use photos that represent you
Choose a clear, recent photo of yourself. Check backgrounds for addresses, badges, children or other people who have not agreed to appear. A photo is a conversation aid, not proof of identity.
Make your intentions easy to understand
Say what kind of connection you are open to without making promises you do not mean. Choose interests you actually enjoy. Optional details are optional; a good profile does not need your entire life story.
A simple bio framework
One thing you enjoy. One detail that shows your personality. One question someone can answer. Example: “Usually outdoors on Saturday, experimenting in the kitchen on Sunday. What is one recipe I should learn next?” Adapt it to your own voice.
